New CumulusMX Install - Entering All Time Records

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

New CumulusMX Install - Entering All Time Records

Post by trevbrp »

Hi,

I've recently installed CumulusMX and am going through and converting all my WD logfiles(10years data) to the Cumulus file format using the excellent WD file convertor utility written by Steve.

I'm obviously not grasping something, but I've read through various threads, but for the life of me, I cannot see where/how I can enter my All time records/extremes. I read phrases about the 'All Time Editor' or something like that, but I cannot find this editor, or an option on any of the CumulusMX screens to enter this data. I see an Edit option on the menu, but the only option there is for the Rainfall data.

From what I have read, after I have converted my historical files, there is no automatic process that then calculates the daily/monthly/yearly extremes, so I will have to enter these manually.

regards

Cumulus MX is still in 'beta' and is likely to stay that way for some time, until it has most of the features of Cumulus 1. The only editor in MX is for today's rain. This post lists the items that are in Cumulus 1 which are not yet implemented in Cumulus MX - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13298

As you're running Windows, you could install Cumulus 1.9.4 and uses the editors in that, and then copy the data files to your MX installation.
