Hi there,
Somehow, my data logger was disconnected yesterday afternoon (cleaner), so now today's high's and low's are incorrect. They show yesterday's data as today's data as if Cumulus MX thinks that yesterday was the start of today? Or, is it something to do with the console thinking yesterday is today?
Please can someone have a look?
Thanks!
William

Re: Data Logger Disconnected - Today's High's And Low's Wron
If your data logger wasn't working for some time, it's inevitable that your data will be wrong. It does look like Cumulus didn't do the end of day rollover as a result, but it's not clear why that would be, assuming it's been running all the time.
Was the logger disconnected from the console or from the PC? If it was just disconnected from the PC, then it will still have the data in it, and you can 'rewind' Cumulus by stopping it and copying the files from one of the backup folders into the data folder. If it was disconnected from the console, and hence not logging data, there's not a lot you can do about that.

Yes, unfortunately the data logger was disconnected from the console itself. :/
So, that's why I thought trying to change the today.ini file would most likely make no effect, so I presume that the reason that Cumulus is showing the last recorded data as a high is because it thinks that that data was today's data instead of treating that data as before midnight. If that's the case, then I presume it's just waiting 24 hours?
For example, today's high temperature is shown as being at 15:55 which is of course not today, it's yesterday.

I suspect that the logger disconnecting caused a problem in MX and as a result it didn't roll over at midnight. It should sort itself out at midnight tonight.
