Did you ever get Twitter fixed, I have the same problem getting exactly the same error after updating the Debian version I use on my RPI to fix another issue. Trying to import the certificate shows the certificate as invalid just as in your post.

No, Twitter is not doing anything. It's a shame as this is a really good feature. My tweets are followed by local police, fire crew, and all sorts of other people.

I hope we can all get it sorted

It appears that in later versions of Mono, they have changed mozroots so that it uses the URL I mentioned earlier in the thread. The equivalent with an older mozroots is:

mozroots --import --sync --url https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla ... rtdata.txt

I've just tried this on my Pi, and it looked like it was working, but I got an 'out of memory' error. Perhaps it will work on a Pi with more memory.

Edit: I ran it again, and this time it apparently worked. But I still get an "invalid certificate" error when connecting to Twitter. So I give up; I've spent far too much time on this. This is apparently not a problem with Cumulus.

I had the same problem, I install mono 4.05 as instructed in this thread https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 5&p=113229 10th post down, works perfectly . All the best Derek.

It's good to hear that they have fixed it in later versions. It's odd that apparently using the same URL with the older code doesn't work.

Version 4.05 doesn't need the certs to work. I think they are already installed. All the Best Derek

I think that what it does is run the command to download them when you install the package? But whatever - it's a good solution.
