New CumulusMX Install Can't Update Certs

Been doing some work at the House and all the Power Shutdowns corrupted my Pi again.

Just re-installed, and got 99% of my Data back, but can't seem to get twitter working again.

It's failing trying to update the certs.

Code: Select all

pi@Pi6:~ $ sudo mozroots --import --ask-remove
Mozilla Roots Importer - version 3.2.8.0
Download and import trusted root certificates from Mozilla's MXR.

Downloading from 'http://mxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/security/nss/lib/ckfw/builtins/certdata.txt?raw=1'...
Couldn't retrieve the file using the supplied information.

Can anyone see anything wrong?

Looking at the URL it's trying to go to this seems to have an Error on it?

I just can't seem to get it working, and know that Twitter won't work until the Certs are Trusted.

There are lots of hits found by Google for this error, but the ones I've looked at don't give anything conclusive, just an implication that the download is simply timing out, so probably some kind of (hopefully temporary) issue with the server.

Thanks Steve,

I guess I'll just have to wait for them to fix it.

Can't find where the CERTS are installed so I don't think I can even copy them from another Pi.
Thought it was /usr/share/ca-certs/mozilla but copied from another pi that works and still get the cert error.

Got it working by using a different URL.

Code: Select all

sudo mozroots --import --ask-remove --url 'http://hg.mozilla.org/projects/nss/raw-file/default/lib/ckfw/builtins/certdata.txt?raw=1'
Then doing the normal

Code: Select all

sudo mozroots --import --ask-remove
That's now updated and Twitter is working for me again.
Hope this helps anyone else who has the same issue.
