NOAA Reports

Hi All

My software is Cumulus release v1.9.4 (build 1099) and I have 2 websites one of which runs the Cumulus templates and the other Saratoga templates.

The Saratoga templates are in the root directory on my web server whilst the Cumulus are in a folder of that root directory.

Cumulus updates the NOAA information daily on the web server in its Cumulus folder as well as in the appropriate folder on my home computer.

To be able to have an up-to date version of the NOAA report on my Saratoga at the moment necessitates a physical copy of the current month and year data to a file in the Saratoga area so that Ken True's script NOAA-reports.php can be used to display the info. on my Saratoga site.

Could someone point me in the direction of a way of accomplishing, this now daily transfer task, to be done automatically by software, please. Perhaps a few lines of code could be added to the ajax-dashboard.php script but then that would do a copy each time that script is run. There is, possibly a more efficient way of achieveing my aim.

The update of the Cumulus file for NOAA occurs at midnight local time daily.

Thanks

Keith Griffin

For my http://www.komokaweather.ca/wxnoaaclimatereports.php I have the settings to my Cumulus' www. komokaweather.com/weather/reports/ folder set in the Settings-weather.php where the where the NOAAMO0616.txt and NOAAYE2016.txt files are located - www.komokaweather.com/weather/reports/NOAAMO0616.txt and www.komokaweather.com/weather/reports/NOAAYR2016.txt. So Cumulus uploads the reports each day to /weather/reports and Saratoga uses those files.

Hope this helps
Paul
