Cumulus Support

Hi,
I am using cumulus MX with raspberry pi2 from last winter. Everything was working fine except MX crashing. I solved crashing problem and everything was nice. But few month ago my weather station stopped to do NOAA reports. Everything else working fine.
By the way I forgot what file I need to copy or replace every 1st day of a month.
Probably it is a main problem? Maybe you can suggest how to solve it?

Cumulus will ftp the file once day automatically, that's what the auto ftp setting that you have selected does. So you don't need to put it in extra files and you don't then need to change the file name once a month.

Is Cumulus not updating the reports on your computer, or is it doing that and it's an ftp problem?

I think it is not FTP problem. Ftp working. This kind of setup was from the beginning. But then I few month MX stop to do that.
I will try to remove these lines and will see whats happening.

Hi,
I removed these lines from extra web file. But reports still not updates. I use Cumulus MX 3.0.0 b3031.
Yesterday I disconnected station from raspberry pi and connected to my pc. On pc I use version 1.9.4 build 1099.
Cumulus fetched and processed all data and NOAA reports uploaded. Then I again connected to MX and no luck again. For today MX did not uploaded any NOAA reports. I am a bit confused. Have no idea where can be problem

As I asked above, is it updating the reports on your Pi?

I just checked pi/CumulusMX/reports catalog and there are files (reports), but NOAAMO0616.txt, NOAAMO0516.txt, are without any data in it.

So it means that Cumulus MX on my raspberry pi not creating reports?

Also I just noticed that my ftplog.txt - 2.7GB size. I think it is totally not normal.

Perhaps there is a problem with your data log files. Have a look in the diags file to see if there are any errors logged which mention either the June log file or dayfile.txt, or perhaps some other error at the time the report is created, when the end of day rollover takes place.

I just checked pi/CumulusMX/MXdiags on raspberry pi
and there are: Also I attached last 20160618-110008.txt file.

If you look in that diags file as I suggested, you will see an error in dayfile.txt. Look at the quoted line in dayfile.txt with a good text editor (I always recommend notepad++ for Windows, I'm not sure what is equally good on the Pi) and you will be able to see what the problem is and correct it, with Cumulus stopped.

I'm back at my PC now, so can cut and paste - here's the error message from the diags file:

Yes in line 303 some nonsense.
I deleted them and left original line.
But after edit my NOAA still empty. Should it update instantly or it will update at midnight? When I turned on Cumulus on my PC and connected weather station two days ago Cumulus on my PC fetched and processed all data and then uploaded NOAA report.

I looks like file NOAAMO0616.txt on raspberry pi /reports empty.

It looks like Cumlus was restarted at midnight so did not do the daily roll over processing?

I did not restarted it. I am really lost and don't know what's going on and how to fix it. As I already mention it reports stopped on April and from then I have problems with it and don't know how to solve it.
I running MX on raspberry pi only to save electricity costs. But as I already realized MX not functioning well for me and creates more troubles that joy.
