Cumulus MX

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

What is the level of maturity with Cumulus MX (for Windows use)? Officially it seems to be in BETA state still, but I guess quite many use it already as the primary Cumulus SW?

I'm still calling it a beta because it is missing features that are in Cumulus 1, and bugs are still being found in it. It's also not as simple to get going with it as with Cumulus 1 (partly because of the fact that it runs on multiple platforms).

Many people are using it now instead of Cumulus 1. For me personally, it runs for weeks on end without any issues being apparent at all.

It may be called "beta" for a very long time still to come.
