Error [object Object ] on windows of chrome

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Error [object Object ] on windows of chrome

Post by icnmfabro »

I just installed Cumulus MX 3.0 , but I have a problem saving the weather station configuration data on the web page . By entering the type of station and the rest of the data on Cumulus MX web page, saving me the following error: 192.168.1.20 Error [object Object ].
How can I fix the problem?
Use Chrome and Firefox web browsers .

This is usually caused by not running it as Administrator on Windows or as Root on the Raspberry Pi, so in either case it does not have the correct permissions to save the file.

Permissions are probably OK, but you have to start Cumulus with "sudo mono CumulusMX.exe".

What version of Mono are you using? What locale are you you using on your Pi, and are you using a "-lang" parameter for MX? Have you looked at the MX FAQ, or done a search and read this thread - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=15128 - might be something helpful there.
