Reassigning extra temp sensor to soil temp

I've got a Davis Vantage Pro2 with an extra Wireless Temperature Station that is successfully ingesting into Cumulus 1.9.4.

The sensor is 4" underground, being used as a soil temperature sensor. My Davis console won't let me assign this data as soil temperature since that only works with their dedicated soil temp/moisture station, not the general wireless temperature station that I'm using. So, the temperature coming into Cumulus is seen as extra temperature - sensor 1.

I'd like to upload my soil temperature data to Weather Underground, but unfortunately this doesn't work since Cumulus is looking for assigned soil temperature data to upload, not extra temperature data. Is there a way to reassign my extra temperature sensor 1 as soil temperature sensor 1 so that I can upload?

Not in Cumulus, no.

Could you use the custom URL feature in CumulusMX to send whatever data you wanted?

I guess catch up wouldn't work though.

Yes, that might work for live data with MX, and curl could be used to do the same for Cumulus 1, with a file processed by Cumulus.
