To day I saw that the station was not updated in several hours.
I tried to restart cumulus MX - but with no luck.:

not sure if you have two issues, but looks like Cumulusmx was unable to upload data to your website either for quiet sometime

Yes, it's just the data reading thread which crashes, the other threads continue quite happily in ignorance. I'll look at trying to handle this error when it occurs. Mail notifications are some way off, I'm afraid.
