CumulusMX vs. Cumulus ajax template problem

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

CumulusMX vs. Cumulus ajax template problem

Post by theweissguy »

I have two Fine Offset (2080) receivers. One is broadcasting to theweissguy.com/MX (test site) and one is my live site theweissguy.com/weather. Both sites are working correctly and reporting the same data. The test site uses the MX default templates for the display. My live site uses BaseUSA templates. I tried theBaseUSA templates on the test site but the ajax based displays failed to pick up the current data. This can be seen by trying the following two links for comaprison:
http://theweissguy.com/weather/my_ajax-dashboard.php (works)
http://theweissguy.com/MX/my_ajax-dashboard.php (doesn't work)

The same problem persists with the original ajax-dashboard.php

Any ideas or suggestions?

First of all I can't see anything in either page that 'fires up' the ajax (javascript) ?

However; the information is initially populated by the ...ajax.php files.
It appears that the different php files are also looking up two different cumulus webtag files. One of which IS being updated, the other not.

not sure and both links are very slow at loading. first one reports:

Updated : @ 18-May-2016 5:50pm - next update at 6:00pm

second one reports:

Updated : @ 17-May-2016 7:50pm - next update at 8:00pm

you need a couple of updates too on the MX one.

Thanks - you've got it. Somehow my original cumuluswebtags.txt never got transferred properly. It all looks good now. I think I'm ready to go live with MX on my Raspberry PI3.
