N23DQ station and Cumulus.

Can you help me please?
I have the above weather station, distributed by Maplins in the UK, and it works fine with Weather Underground but I cannot connect it to Cumulus. I've tried a USB lead into my computer with no luck at all, but I note in the Cumulus information that it can "piggyback" Wunderground data to produce a display.
Is there anybody on the forum who has had similar problems, or could someone suggest a way for me to get Cumulus working with my equipment? I'm not particularly computer savvy.
Thankyou in advance.

I am afraid this weather station is NOT supported by Cumulus.
I note in the Cumulus information that it can "piggyback" Wunderground data to produce a display.
I am afraid I don't understand this. Cumulus will send data from a station that is supports to Wunderground, but I could be wrong but I don't think it has any features to get data from Wunderground.

Thankyou David.
It's a real pity that Cumulus does not support my equipment. Ah well, I'll have to make do with Wunderground.
Thanks again for your reply.

It is indeed, but it is not Cumulus's fault that Fine Offset brought out what looks to be quite a good Weather Station but decided to use a completely different interface protocol to all their existing weather stations. As I understand it even their own software (EasyWeather) doesn't talk to this station.

Andras, best of luck with your station, and may your "Location: Leicester" football team have more success ;)

Not an expert on Premier League football, but recently have heard quite a bit about Leicester...

Thanks again Paul. I'm not a football fan either, all I know is that they're shutting down half of Leicester this coming Monday so that the team can parade something around in a bus...
