Hello,
I'm a newbie here and just downloaded Cumulus MX (used Cumulus 1.XX previously). I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 with a USB data logger.

When I close either Cumulus or Weatherlink and try to open cumulusMX in administrator mode I have a command line window opened and ending like this :

=====
Current culture: Français (France)
Serial: 3653A840E00660A187BE19C38AA2C32B
Cumulus MX v.3.0.0 build 3038
Station type not set
Cumulus running at: http://*:8998/
(Replace * with any IP address on this machine, or localhost)
Starting web socket server on port 8002
23/04/2016 15:47:43
Type Ctrl-C to terminate
=======
and nothing anymore...

Could you help please ?
Regards

That looks OK to me - it's started, why do you think it hasn't? What happens when you try to view the user interface in your browser? You have read the instructions?

Hi,
Because I only have a "command line window". Program itself doesn't open at all.

There is no program like the old Cumulus you access the running server via your browser of choice by entering

http://*:8998/
(Replace * with any IP address on this machine, or localhost)

As it says.

So, it could be http://localhost:8998/ or httpt://192.168.1.70:8998/ as mine is on my local network. The CumulusMX frontend will then appear and you can do all the settings etc. via that.
