Problem reading data from Vantage Vue

Cumulus 1.9.4, Windows 10
Probably something that I have done wrong, but I seem to have flatlined my data since around February this year and I'm trying to reload this from the logger. When I start Cumulus the "Downloading data" screen only appears for a very short time, this normally took some time as I don't run Cumulus continuously. I tried re-loading from a February backup, that appears to be good, but this doesn't seem to solve the problem, the missing data do not appear to be read.
Apologies if this has already been answered, please point me the the relevant documentation if this is so. Many Thanks.

Does your logger actually hold the data going back that far - what interval do you have set in the Vue? Does the timestamp in today.ini that you are trying to use correspond exactly to the time of a logger entry in the Vue? Davis stations behave oddly if they don't have an entry exactly matching, which is why you should have Cumulus and the Vue set to the same interval. In the past stations have sent the entire logger contents if they don't have a match, but from what I've seen, the Vue sends nothing.
If none of the above helps, please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply in this thread, and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the prompt response and apologies for not replying earlier.
I believe that the data in the Vue do go back that far, and this is a problem that has been occuring for some time. Sorry, but I don't know what interval is set in the Vue and I can't find where it is set, I have run through the Vue setup menu and I can't find any option to set or view this. I would assume that the logger has an entry corresponding to the timestamp in today.ini as this was taken from a backup. I have tried to think of what I might have done to cause the problem, I moved to a new computer (and Windows 10) in January, but I have data for most if not all of February. It's possible that it might be related to the start of daylight saving, but this doesn't seem to correspond to the dates anyway.
I will attach the zipped Diags folder to this message.

I don't have the Vue but think it is the same as the VP2, and that the logging interval is set in the Weatherlink program that comes with the Davis logger package. If you run Weatherlink you can download the data from the logger and will be able to then see from what date period it is logged. Once set then you can stop Weatherlink and restart Cumulus.

Your station says it doesn't have the required data:
08/04/2016 20:40:17.635 : VP2: Downloading history from 06/02/2016 14:30:00
08/04/2016 20:40:17.635 : y=2016 m=2 d=6 h=14 m=30
08/04/2016 20:40:21.375 : VP2: DownloadData_V = 0
08/04/2016 20:40:21.375 : VP2: GetNumberOfArchiveRecords_V = -1
08/04/2016 20:40:21.375 : VP2: No history records to process
Your station logger is set to 30 minutes, so it will hold 53 days of data, so the earliest data that it currently holds should be from February 23rd.
However, I can see that you tried the same thing on March 29th.
29/03/2016 20:19:54.356 : VP2: Downloading history from 06/02/2016 14:30:00
29/03/2016 20:19:54.356 : y=2016 m=2 d=6 h=14 m=30
29/03/2016 20:19:58.175 : VP2: DownloadData_V = 0
29/03/2016 20:19:58.175 : VP2: GetNumberOfArchiveRecords_V = -1
29/03/2016 20:19:58.175 : VP2: No history records to process
I'm not sure whether it would be expected to have the data then either, as it's very close to 53 days.

Thanks for the replies on this.
I'm beginning to think that this might be a more fundamental problem and the Vue is not logging data. If I am connected to the station then entries get logged to the appropriate directories in Cumulus' data folder, however if I shut down Cumulus and re-connect some time later then no data are downloaded for the period that I've been offline. There clearly isn't a problem connecting to the Vue in that I can see real-time data. My Cumulus logging interval is now set to the same as the Vue logging interval, 30 minutes.
I've tried connecting with Davis Weatherlink and if I click the download data button I get a message to the effect that there is no data to download.
I've tried re-loading the firmware on the Vue, this warns that it clears the archive, which I hoped my clear the problem, albeit with a loss of historical data. However there are no data for the period following this. I'm beginning to suspect a problem with the Vue cosole itself, either a fault or some configuration problem that I've caused (probably the latter). The only thing I know I have done on the Vue is that I corrected the clock on the unit following the move to daylight saving time at the end of March, the unit had corrected for daylight saving itself but had drifted a few minutes out and I tried to fix this. I guess this might have caused the problem.
I'm really at a loss as to what to do next. I accept that I've lost data for a few months, but I'd like to get the system running again. I'm aware that I'm not using Cumulus in the way it was intended to be used in that I don't dedicate a computer to permanent connection to the station, I just try to connect once a week or so and download data, but this has worked in the past very well. I could try installing Cumulus afresh and set up the station from scratch, but I guess this isn't going to help if the problem is in the Vue console/datalogger.
Apologies if this has moved somewhat off-topic for this section of the forum. Any ideas to get things going again would be most welcome.

If Weatherlink says there are no archive entries, then the problem is definitely with the logger or console. You could try resetting the logger/console. I think this will involve powering down the console completely and then removing the logger and replacing it. Make sure the logger is seated properly, and then power up the console and go through any required setup.
