Realtime not updating

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Hi

I'm running CumulusMX 3038 on a PC with Windows 10 and have from time to time seen the realtime.txt upload stopping and then starting again.
Sometimes it stops totally and CumulusMX needs to be restarted and sometimes it stops for a period.
I have attached a ftplog showing a realtime.txt upload "break" for 15 minutes. It stops at 2016-05-30 14:39:30 and begins again at 2016-05-30 14:55:00.

Regards,
Mads

It looks like there were communication issues with the ftp server on the realtime ftp connection. The FTP component apparently keeps testing the connection until eventually the server starts responding again - or perhaps it (or your server) eventually disconnects and then the FTP component reconnects; the fact that it logs all activity to the same file makes it hard to see exactly what's going on.
