Hello!
I've just installed the Solar rad sensor for the VP2 and wondered about the evapotranspiration reading..
The console reads 0.38mm for daily/monthly/yearly - MX uploads the figure of 4.01mm. I'm a bit confused!

If you just installed it today, I'd see what happens tomorrow. The ET readings have always been a bit 'flakey'.
FWIW, My console vs. MX has

Is MX calculating its own ET then?mcrossley wrote:If you just installed it today, I'd see what happens tomorrow. The ET readings have always been a bit 'flakey'.

The console is at 00.8mm and MX is at 1.02mm - What's confusing me, is the format. Is that 00.8 the same as 0.8mm? If it is, then I guess it is fairly close to 1.02mm.

Re: Solar Radiation
No Cumulus downloads the figure from the console, it doesn't calculate it. Cumulus was showing a negative figure for a while after midnight until Steve put a fix in for that, can't remember what the problem was.
I have a second console, and the ET figures on that do not agree with my primary console (the second console is running older firmware) - so who knows what Davis are doing. Figures noted yesterday...
