NOAA Report Generation

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

NOAA Report Generation

Post by browell »

First, thanks for very nice software. I have a Fine Offset type station and do not leave it continually connected because of disconnect problems. I usually connect to the PC every few days to collect data from the weather station. I have noticed that CumulusMX does not correctly generate the Monthly NOAA files in the ./Reports directory. The file for today (22-Mar-2016) has the following format NOAAMO1416.txt, the format mask in the configuration is: "NOAAMO"mmyy".txt". I am running version: Cumulus MX v.3.0.0 build 3037, on MacBook Air OSX El Capitan 10.11.4. There is no file for February and installed and have been running Cumulus since 10-Feb-2016..

You're using the wrong format string, month is MM not mm, see the table in the main MX announcement.
