Historical data for wind direction

We have a problem with odours from a council tip which is situated about half a mile from our house.

Ideally I'd like to look back on old records to establish the predominant wind direction on particular days, hopefully to show that the odours were much worse on days when the wind was generally blowing from the direction of the tip.

As far as I can see this isn't possible using Cumulus I. The only way I can see is from now on to print out the graph for wind direction under View >> Graphs, every day. But if I'm missing something obvious, or if anyone has suggestions on an easy way to get the historical records in an easy to view form, please let me know.

What about the data in the log files?

You could take a copy and open in a spreadsheet to manipulate the data and produce graphs, etc

The Monthly files have a lot of detail (every 10 minutes), and there is also the dayfile, although it has less useful info for the wind direction

For example: Open Sep09log.txt in Excel, select columns A and H, insert scatter chart:
