Cumulus Support

Steve I first noticed this in 3036 and when I started 3037 it happened again and I only noticed it because I am using realtime.txt to maintain a realtime database on MySQL.

It would appear that when you close CumulusMX, copy the new version in, and then start CumulusMX the very first realtime.txt file uploaded has zero values in most of the fields and it recovers on the second one, so you see a momentary dip and then all is OK, except in the case of the Pressure when this causes the scale to extend from 0 - whatever(say 1010.0) which causes a flatline in the graph plotting.

Easy to fix in my case as just use my Cpanel and phpMyAdmin and fix the values in the table for the incorrect line with the editor, but I thought I ought to mention it in case it causing others problems.

I am a Fine Offset User just in case that is specific and here is my MX Diags from today's start in case that helps (ignore the failed updates my router dropped the line for some reason and then recovered).

I don't think it's related to upgrading, it's when restarting quickly and there are no logger entries to download. It's starting the realtime timer rather early, and it may do the realtime stuff before the first data is read. When it was just creating the realtime.txt file it wasn't an issue as the file isn't permanent, but with SQL updates it gets saved. I'll look at stopping it doing realtime until the first data is read.

OK will carry on doing the edit until you fix it not a problem. Was wondering what the problem was.
