Watson W-8681 Rain Gauge

Post by cloud chaser »

I have a Watson W-8681 weather station. I have been roaming through the forums for some time now and have come across a few posts from people calling into question the accuracy of the rain gauge. Can I ask if anyone knows of any accuracy issues with it, as the gauge is oblong (and not circular) and with the sides being quite shallow, just how accurate is it?

If there are any issues, does anyone know of any solutions please?

Many thanks
