I'm lucky enough to have two Fine Offset base units (both set up identically) reading from one set of sensors. One is connected to a Raspberry Pi running permanently and the other to a Win 10 desktop and accessed once or twice a week. Because of the exciting weather lately I had cause to compare the info generated by both MX and 1.9.4. Quite interesting.

What you're mainly demonstrating is the difference between live data and logger data, with a bit of Fine Offset randomness thrown in. What logger interval does the station read by 1.9.4 use?

Is that high temperature on the 6th genuine, or a 'spike'?

You would at least expect the daily rainfall figures to be similar regardless of whether the data was live or at logger intervals, but that could also be explained by the vagaries of Fine Offset. The two sets of diags files should explain the difference in the two.
