Hi all.

I purchased a Wh-1091 recently, installed batterys and all worked well for 2-3 days, The base station then lost contact with the outside transmitter, Hmmm Batterys I thought, replaced all batterys in transmitter and base station with Lithium but the two would not link back up........after giving up for the night, I awoke to find the base station had reaquired the transmitter but this only lasted for a few short hours, I bought the outside gauges inside thinking it may be a distance thing, and on to the work bench along side the base station but have never got the two to link up again. I have tried removing batteries and leaving for a while to no avail.I live in a new area with all underground cabeling and no interferance. When I replace the batteries in the transmitter I get the led coming on for approx 5 seconds and then it simply flashes every 40 seconds or so which I thought would be right as that is the transmition interval for this unit......Is there a reset that I can do or does this problem sound terminal...any help would be much apprieciated...Tony

If you followed the startup procedure in the manual correctly then I would say you need to return the complete unit to your supplier under warranty. The transmitter unit sounds OK but the flashing LED doesn't necessarily mean that it is transmitting.
