NOAA-reports

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

From the timestamps, it looks like the reports are being uploaded at every web update rather than using the Cumulus mechanism which uploads them only once, at midnight. So presumably you have added the January report as an extra file, which is why it is continuing to upload that one?

I have the reports copied over via extra web files and have only process ticked. It only updates at midnight. Maybe because its february its not uploaded it to my webserver directory since mine is on the same box. How do i upload it so when the month changes it uploads it rather then the previous month and me keeps changing the month in extra web files.

You shouldn't tick 'process' for NOAA reports as they don't contain web tags.

There is currently no option in Cumulus for automatically copying the current NOAA files, only for FTPing them. Until such a facility does exist, if you want to copy the files rather than using FTP, you will either have to change the file name every month, or get Cumulus to execute a script file which works out the name of the current file and does the copy.

Thats a bummer! Maybe its an idea to update it in mysql database. Have a database variable to which month. If thatll work

I got around it by running a daily script in Cumulus that just copied changed files in the reports folder.
