Time and decimal wrong

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Time and decimal wrong

Post by Steve R »

I have two odd issues. The time at the top of the screen is off. I live in Northern Calif and it shows sunrise at 15:02. I have checked my L & L several times and think I am using the right datum. Also the rain total decimal is off. We have a total of 6.14 inches this month not 61.41. Neither of these are big issues for me just thought I would point it out.

Thanks;
Steve

You almost certainly have the wrong co-ordinates entered - perhaps you have East rather than West for your longitude?

Fine Offset stations have a habit of generating invalid data - but this can also be caused by selecting the wrong station type. There are some entries in the FAQ about correcting rainfall, most of which also applies to MX apart from the absence of built-in editors in MX. You may just have a bad total for one particular day.

I was going to ask, will built-in editors be intergrated into MX in a future build?

Yes, that's why they are mentioned in the post listing things that are missing from MX which I intend to add at some point.
