THe Beaufort Scale in realtime.txt

Post by daj »

In the realtime.txt file ..... field 13, the wind speed as a Beaufort scale, is this reporting on the 10 minute average wind speed or the latest wind speed?

I was trying to figure it out based on my readings however they are both about the same for the last hour or so!

Tsk Dave :P

It has been pointed out before - Beaufort only applies to conditions of 10 mins or more - ergo average.
