Mot had this error before but I keep getting this

What do I do. Clearly I have to edit line 2083 but to what?

Open the file in a good text editor like notepad++ and it will be clear what the problem is - make the line look like all the others; delete it if it's blank. If you can't work it out, attach the file to a reply here and someone will be able to tell you what you need to do.

Stop Cumulus and then use an editor to look at line 2083 of Jan16log.txt.
It will usually be pretty obvious what the problem is by comparing line 2083 with line 2082 and 2084 i.e. the lines either side of it. Alter line 2083 to look like either of these lines (more likely 2082), save the file and restart Cumulus.
