I have Cumulus 1.9.4 on a FineOffset weatherstation using a PC win 7 and I have noticed that when I shut down the PC overnight and restart next morning the logging interval changes in Cumulus. when the PC is on the interval is 10 mins as per the station setup. When the pc is off the logging interval (as displayed afert Cumulus downloads overnight data) changes to 30 mins. I also notice that while the PC is on the logging time is exactly on the 10 minute marks in the hour ie 10, 20, 30 etc but when the PC is off this changes to the last log plus 3 mins and then logs every 30 minutes. ie Last log with PC on at 23:30 first uploaded log during PC off is 23:43 and then every 30 mins until PC on then revert back to 7:10, 7:20 etc.
Any Suggestions??

Re: Strange Logging
I think you have your logger interval set to 30mins on your Fine Offset, but your Cumulus interval set to 10mins.
To check this go here http://sandaysoft.com/downloads and download the Set Logger Interval program that Steve built for Fine Offsets. When you run it, it reads the logger interval and will allow you to set your interval if you want both Cumulus and the Fine Offset Log interval to match.
Note, however, if you give the logger a shorter interval (i.e. 10 mins) if you go away for longer than 28 days your logger will overwrite itself as the logger has 4080 intervals in which stores data. A 30min interval would give you 85 days of stored data in the logger.

Re: Strange Logging
Thanks Dave, I think I will leave well enough alone. It was just something I noticed when trying to fix my DIGITEC weatherstation which kept loosing contact with the sensors at 2am and regaining at 6:30am. Turned out to be the reset button underneath the solar panel mounting. It was collecting moisture inside the switch when the dewpoint got within 0.5C of the outside temp. Removed the reset switch and all is good with the world!!
