CumulusMX b 3036 on Raspberry Pi 2 - MXDiags file attached

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

CumulusMX b 3036 on Raspberry Pi 2 - MXDiags file attached

Steve:

I have attached a log file for your review. This evening, I made a change via the Settings option via the dashboard. Please find the timestamp of 2016-01-06 17:08:56.050. A few lines down in the log there are some error messages.

I've since seen a note that Cumulus should be stopped before making changes to the Cumulus.ini file. However, the error messages seem to imply something different and having to do with creating HTML files. The only option I change was to "check" the option to "Upload standard files".

I restarted Cumulus and it's been running just fine for the last couple of hours. Prior to this, I've had my station running on Rasp Pi for a couple of days and it seems to work well. (Converted from 1.9.4 to MX on Win10/64 and now on the Rasp Pi.)

Hope this might be helpful.

Thanks,

Jed

Thanks - unfortunately Linux stack traces aren't very helpful, so I can't tell what the problem is. You haven't turned debug logging on either, but I'm not sure that would have helped in this case anyway.

You appear to be getting the occasional ftp timeout, so perhaps that is related to the error message.
