MX webpage self update

Little bit confused here about the standard Cumulus MX web page. There is a setting in the control panel under settings - web/ftp for the upload interval. The figure entered here is shown on the web page thus:
"The weather station in use is the Fine Offset, and these pages are updated every 2 minutes. The meteorological day used at this station ends at midnight."

But the web page only updates when I click the reload button in my web browser (Firefox). Is this how it should be?

There's no code in the standard pages to make them automatically refresh. If you want to add that, you can do so. The simplest way is 'meta refresh', see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta_refresh but that's not recommended, for the reasons given in that article.

Are you getting confused between the Cumulus User interface and the Cumulus Web site pages?

A link to your Web page would help, so we can understand what you mean.

Thanks Steve, your link to Meta_refresh was just what I needed.

David, link to my site below. I'm no programmer, I just fiddle one bit at a time till I get what I want.
