Have you got "Include graph data files" ticked in Internet settings?

Is this ok if you don't use FTP and only use extra web files 'local filename to remote filename' as my webserver is on the same machine as the cumulusmx root directory is on?

Should work when you tick the box as it will put the files in the same place as your web files are put.

Nope they're not in web directory in cumulus directory there in the cumulus root directory and last updated for .json files were on the 4/12/2015 23:22:00.

Do I need to restart cumulus to take affect?

Shouldn't have to but since it is only a control and a reload it wouldn't harm trying it!

The json files should end up in the same directory as your web site .htm files on your local server.

Richard

I've been reading the history of this post and I am little confused as to your setup.

You're running MX?
Is this running on the same computer as your webserver (you seem to be self-hosting)?
In 'Web/FTP settings' do you have 'Auto update' and 'Include graph data files' ticked? Or are you doing it some other way?

I think maybe if you post your Cumulus.ini file (with passwords removed), we can see exactly what configuration you have.

IIRC you are self hosting on the same server as Cumulus MX is running?

Hi David,

Yes CumulusMX and my webserver are on the same box which is why i dont use FTP i use local filename to remote filename which is why i didnt have nothing ticked in there only if you are using FTP. So even if your not using FTP you still need auto update ticked and standard graph data files?

If they are on the same box, but the MX console is in a different folder, then yes you will need to have Cumulus copy the .json files to the folder the webserver is pointing at

I think you need Auto Update ticked as well as per the Wiki
1.In this 'frame' first click on Auto Update; this tells Cumulus you want it to automatically process the web tags in the templates, and generate web pages.
