raspberry pi 2 locallhost not working

Hi,

When I first launch Cumulus MX with sudo mono CumulusMX.Exe it says station not set, what is normal.

Then I start the browser en give in localhost:8998 , it started and the layout was ok and I did al the station settings.

When I started Cumulus again it told me station not found! so I did a downgrade of the mono version to 4.0.5 and the it found my WMR200.

But, when I now start the browser and start localhost it just give me a raw text page without the CSS style, no graphics and notting works.

The browser starts direct a download of the index page and opens that file from Downloads

Can someone tel me how to fix this

Thanks

Frank

Me again.

I solved the problem by installing Chromium. Now all seems to work fine.

No gauges graphics see here http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weather/gauges-ss.php

No moon phases see here http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weather/index.php

And plenty of other things missing so still plenty to do :D :D :D :D

My Gauges are working fine, see http://www.weerstation-maarkedal.be/gauges.htm :)

Yes, the moon phase is missing, but all other basic stuff is working as the standard template from Steve.

I could smooth up the site and maybe I will doe that later, so you are right, plenty of work to do ;)

Have a fine week end

Hi Frank,
You've done well, and I think what David was hinting at ;) is that your gauges popup does not include the trends graph like on his. Yours shows the trend text but not the actual graph. Not sure how that works on MX as I think it is different than on Cumulus 1.

Enjoy,
Paul

The graphs are straight forward to implement and the solution is 'here'.

@Paul, surprised to see you are not running MX.........

Hi Duke,
I download each update version and run it to make sure I am current and working on my Windows 8 system, including SS gauges. Then go back to Cumulus 1 as still one thing I use not yet in MX - Weather Diary and Snow Index.

Using the raspberry pi or anything other than Windows will be a long ways off for me

Regards,
Paul

You'll be pleased to hear that I'm working on those currently, for the next build.

Hi Paul,

David's website looks indeed very good but I don't have the knowledge to build something like that but I'm learning.

You mentioned the graphs pop ups on the gauges, I was not aware of it :?: , when I was working with cumulus 1 it shows indeed a graph popup and now it don't!

I will look if I can use the tip from Duke

Happy to hear that the Diary is coming up

Thanks for the tips

Frank
