Re: Mac OS X El Capitan
It tells you in the instructions (the link you were given) that you need to download and install the Mono runtime to be able to run Cumulus MX:
"On Linux and OS X you will need to install the Mono runtime. For OS X, you can download this here - http://www.mono-project.com/download/"
As the latest version is now 4.2.0, you may find you have problems with that (it causes problems with USB stations on Linux), so you might want to get 4.0.5.1 from here instead - http://download.mono-project.com/archiv ... os-10-x86/

Thanks. If this is going to cause trouble when using it on Mac, I don't think that I will bother

Re: Mac OS X El Capitan
It's only Mono 4.2.0 that might not work, Mono 4.0.5 should be fine. But it's entirely up to you, of course. MX isn't a 'native' Mac application, so it's understandable that some Mac users won't want to bother, or even like it if they do.

Thanks very much. I am having some trouble with the anemometer anyway, going to have to take the mast down and check it, as it occasionally keeps sticking.

Re: Mac OS X El Capitan
Having briefly tested it, Mono 4.2.0 appears to work fine with MX on OS X.
