Cumulus Support

Hi, have manager to get cumulusmx working on a raspberry pi 2, I can get into the settings panel but cannot get the serial port to work, how do I determin which port to connect the weather station (davis pro 2) ? Any help will be be useful as I am now so close the a working setup.

Do

dmesg | grep cp210x

and look for the line telling you what the cp210x converter is attached to. Put '/dev/' on the front to get the full device. For example, it will probably say that it is attached to ttyUSB0, so you need /dev/ttyUSB0

Thanks Steve, I able to connect to the Davis pro now and view the info, next step is to try to upload to the web site. Cumulus 1 uploads fine but Mx appears not to but if l look at the site with a few program it works! As soon as I disconnect the program it stops uploading, it is as if the part to ftp is not opened by CumulusMX. I will look at the mx setup again and try to see what I have missed as all of my problems so far with setting up mx on a raspberry pi have been my typing.
