I am getting annoyed that my weather station isnt correct.

If you mount it on the top of the roof of a house its bound to get a few degrees of roof temperature interfering. Also wind round a house itll make a wurl wind. Heat from the brick work radiates heat for a long time on a hot day. No good near brick work or near a shed wood gets hot.

Under a tree hmm maybe but then you get all the insects attacking you even though wind and rain is above the tree itll do my nut in and also the water off the tree might interfere with the wireless signal.

I have mine screwed to a shed via a water pipe aluminium ofcourse. And my temperature sensor mount underneath the pvc white guttering dunno where else to mount it. Wind is affected by the house dunno about the rainfall.

I thought about spraying my shield white so it reflects heat more then grey. White is better!

Why have a weather station if its not correct!!

Any ideas please guys.

There's a section in the FAQ about sensor siting, which also has links to external resources.
