I have been using Cumulus very successfully for 2 years now and decided to take the plunge and move to MX, primarily as it incorporates by default the high charts and the steel series gauges.
I have it working ok, but am struggling to get it to save config info into the Cumulus.ini file.
If I change for example the default graph length from 12 to 24 when I press the save button I do not get a confirmation message as I do when modify the internet settings.
I have tried editing the ini file directly but mx then always overwrites this to 12 again, can anyone help me please?
MX is running on a laptop in the shed running Windows 10 and it is running as an admin.
Many thanks Andy

Re: Chaging settings
Are there any red boxes or text on the page, indicating that there is an error message to read? If you turn on your browser's F12 console, does it show any javascript errors?

All of the text on the settings page was in red, which I guess indicates an error condition?steve wrote:Are there any red boxes or text on the page, indicating that there is an error message to read? If you turn on your browser's F12 console, does it show any javascript errors?
I have just deleted the .ini file and re-started MX, and all is working fine now, I guess there was something in the file that MX did not like.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Chaging settings
Some settings carried over from Cumulus 1 can cause an error initially in MX, although this is unusual and usually caused by 'foreign' characters in the site location etc. The form goes red if it finds something it doesn't like in validation, but then you have a to hunt a bit to find the actual error message and the field it doesn't like.
