I had a quick look at the code and realised that I'm already storing the heat index values internally for the graphs, but for some reason I didn't include the values in the data supplied to the charts. It's about 10 seconds work to do that, so I'll include it in the next build. I'll be releasing that later today, most likely.

Re: Adding Heat Index To Graphs
It's a funny time of year to be bothering about heat index - how's the weather down there?

Re: Adding Heat Index To Graphs
I have to say, I think me and Heat Index must be best buddies, I wouldn't really be too bothered and I'm not, was just wanting to see how difficult it might be and still it can get above 27°C here just sometimes...steve wrote:It's a funny time of year to be bothering about heat index - how's the weather down there?![]()

Re: Adding Heat Index To Graphs
You need to forget about JSON files. Cumulus doesn't create the Heat Index data set in that form.
If you want to see how the web tags can be used, create a simple web page.
Then add the tags to the page. If you then allow Cumulus to process the file, it turns the tags into actual values.
for instance
<#RecentHeatIndex h=1>
<#RecentHeatIndex h=2>
<#RecentHeatIndex h=3>
will give you the figures 1 hour ago, 2 hours ago and 3 hours ago.
Once you grasp that principle you could build a simple table.
If you go through the High Chart tutorial then you could turn that data into a chart. There is no short cut to this, but there seems to be plenty of people to help you. You need to do it the way suggested, though.

Fortunately, there was no need for this as the new version of MX has now included Heat Index in the new build.

Steve has obviously taken heed to your plea! I think a round of applause is due
People need to have patience anyway. We are not all the same. I think it is great that you are trying things out.

I'm quite determined and can frustrate me when people don't seem to support my passion, determination and commitment to trying to improve this software.logjam wrote:Steve has obviously taken heed to your plea! I think a round of applause is due![]()
