Couple of questions. Is this version a newer one that the original or just the same thing that will run on multipul platforms.
Are they both open source? If so do you have a git url to clone a copy?

MX is a complete re-write with a different architecture that runs on multiple platforms but aims to be as compatible as possible with Cumulus 1 (e.g. it uses the same data files etc). MX currently lacks a few facilities that are in Cumulus 1, but also has new facilities. I am no longer developing Cumulus 1, and I develop Cumulus MX as time allows. Neither are open source.

That's a shame. Thanks anyway, Ill just use one of the open source programs. You can delete me as a user here and wipe my data
