Just noticed the red error light on Cumulus 1.9.4 build 1099 stating I have an error on line 2997 of Nov15log.txt and it must be fixed.
I edited the file and went to the line and it contains all nulls so I deleted them.
I now have 2 lines 2997 and 2998 both for 26/11/2015, 11:00 containing the correct data, very strange as my PC was not on at this time as I was out.
Line 2996 was for 9:30 the time I powered off the pc.
Line 2999 was created at 12:55 when I switched the PC back on and is creating data entries every 5 minutes.
Any reason why it created the nulls and the 2 identical entries? Never seen this before and should I tidy up the file so it only has one entry for 11:00?

Re: Error in NOV15log.txt
The line of NULLs appear occasionally on some systems, Cumulus doesn't write them so it's some kind of glitch in the system routines. Corruptions can also occur if the PC is powered off before the system has finished writing data to files.
You can delete the duplicate line if you wish, if it's completely identical. Entries can sometimes occur with the same timestamp with Fine Offset stations because of the way the logger works. If you would like to me to investigate, please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply in this thread.

Thanks Steve, I will tidy up the file.
