Hi Guys
I am sorry to have to ask, but i am stuck with my graphs broken post the swap out of my fine offset station.
I appreciate that the station should have nothing to do with the graph data (per se) but i have no idea why things have changed!
See below:
http://weather.penicuik.org/trends.php
Its like data is missing, and extreme - yet the Cumulus console is showing regular data updates without error.
All graphs with the exception of temp min/max and daily rain seem to have the same or similar issue.
Any help is very much appreciated.
David

Re: Graphs broken.... after station change
This is the same PC using the same Cumulus installation, just with a different station? You probably have an error in the November data log, and if so it should be flashing the error light - clicking on it will show where the problem is.
If that's not it, please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply in this thread.
Edit: Looking at your daily graphs, you have a gap of about a week in your data - had you not been running Cumulus before you replaced the station?

Re: Graphs broken.... after station change
Hi Steve
Thanks for the rapid reply.
I had the station down for 2-3 days max as it went bad with the USB data (first two bytes?) so it took me that long to get a new one. The old old one is back for warranty repair... so I have a spare now!
Its the same PC, with a new Maplin fine offset exactly as the old one was.
I dont have any Error "light" in Cumulus - never seen one with the new station, I was getting that with the old station, hence the change.
I dont know why there is a gap - Cumulus was running before - that is weird - the only edit I had made was to the dayfile when the station went bad and I had horrendous values.
Diags attached.
Thanks for your time.

Re: Graphs broken.... after station change
That all looks OK. What do the graphs look like in Cumulus itself? It just looks like the images aren't updating on your web site.
If the graphs in Cumulus are OK, then it's probably an ftp problem, so turning on ftp logging and looking at ftplog.txt should give some help. If the graphs in Cumulus are the same, something's got stuck and a restart of Cumulus should get it going again.

Re: Graphs broken.... after station change
Hi Steve
Well...a restart of Cumulus fixed it... so THANK YOU for that - and sorry i did not try that!
I have no idea why or how that got screwed... and being honest, Cumulus runs 24/7 month on month without a reboot or restart....so I have never had a need to restart... other than the receint failure of the "old" station.
Thanks again for your time.
