I suppose that you did tell Awekas that you were going to provide for direct upload of data?
I haven't found anything on their site or forum, in that regard, yet and, so far, had no response to an email that I sent to them asking them for details.

No, they told me
Othmar has been asking me to do it for some time now, and when I got another request from him recently, I finally went ahead and did it. He knows it is now available - he added 'Cumulus Direct Link' as a reporting type in the user settings. I provided him with a screenshot and instructions for configuring MX, as he requested.

Ahhh, it is only mentioned on the German home page and, even then, the only links are to sandaysoft.

What works?
Username and password? Station id and a (currently non-existent) password? Something else?
Where do you specify that you are transmitting data as opposed to having it picked up from a/your site?
Have you found anywhere on their site where there is definitive information on this? If so, where?
Lol, I could point at mine and say "it works" because there is current data there but it is picked up from my site not transmitted.

I just filled in my Awekas login details in Cumulus MX and stopped uploading the Awekas file to my website.
As stated above, the Cumulus data is accepted with no further actions.

Well, it does seem to work, true enough.
Perhaps Awekas will post the instructions on their website sometime and in English.

In Change user settings -
Report mode
"Data can be entered manually (values are entered by hand into AWEKAS) or automatically using an upload file. If you choose the automatic upload please select the software used by yourself. You can find further information about the preparation of an upload file in the AWEKAS Forum. Direct Link is the transfer mode without a textfile. Direct Link can by use by WSWIN (PC Wetterstation) and Weather Display"
Set it to Cumulus Direct Link
