Firefox seems to have broken MX

I can't see any data in MX when viewing with Firefox 43.0b2. Viewing MX with any other browser works fine. Just a heads up for those on the Firefox beta update channel.

Had to try it. Works fine for me. Although... I am still on Cumulus MX 3.0.0 b3031

Perhaps they have broken websockets in the latest beta? Is it just the dashboard, now, and gauges pages that don't update? Can you see the pages otherwise?

Updated MX to 3032 and (still) no problem with Firefox Beta on MX host or elsewhere on network.

I can view all pages fine, but no data is available from my PWS. The records page displays fine with data, if this helps. If I didn't mention I am using build 3032.

It sounds like the web socket connection isn't working for you in Firefox, for whatever reason. If you can't work out why it isn't working, you could switch to using Ajax instead (see the 3032 announcement).

Strangely enough, the data is visible via the charting page. Since I'm on the beta channel and every other device I own is handling MX properly, I'll just wait and see with FireFox. I have filed a bug report with Mozilla.

Thanks Steve, don't lose any sleep over this one.

The 'dashboard', 'now', and 'gauges' pages use Websockets by default, so assuming it's that which is broken, I'd expect those pages to not work but all the others to work.

To close this out... the Windows 10 update last night has build 3032 displaying properly in FireFox again. Computers are weird.
