I am trying to install Cumulus MX on my new computer IMac running OSX El Capitan version 10.11.1. I have installed the newest version of Mono Framework then open a terminal window and change to the directory where I unzipped Cumulus. When I type sudo mono CumulusMX.exe this is what I get and it's as far as I can get. Any help would be appreciated.

-bash: /Users/steverosenberg/Documents/Cumulus/CumulusMX: is a directory
Steves-iMac:~ steverosenberg$

It looks like you are entering "/Users/steverosenberg/Documents/Cumulus/CumulusMX sudo mono CumulusMX.exe" as the command (everything on the command line up to the $ is the prompt, and everything after is the command) so the first part is a directory.

Steve thank you for your quick response. I did what you said and now I get

Last login: Sun Nov 8 16:45:57 on ttys000
Steves-iMac:~ steverosenberg$ sudo mono CumulusMX.exe
Password:

There is a lock after password and I can't enter anything from there. The folder isn't locked and I looked on the internet for a solution but can't find one.
