Hi all,

I am not sure if any of you are aware that back in June, 2015, Henk of Lyndhurst-Hill Weather in Queensland, Australia and founder of the AUWN (Australian Weather Network) in 2008 had to discontinue hosting/administration of the AUWN and Ken True of (saratoga-weather.org) very kindly came to the rescue and assumed hosting for the network and I (Tony) of (hrvistaweather, com) assumed administration of the network.

Due to the above change, the AUWN now has a new web address http://www.australiawx.net/ for those that have old dead non functioning links on their sites, please update.

I have found some sites did not even exist anymore and some that do exist but are no longer uploading data.

I have contacted many members and amended some of the changes required through software changes to enable their sites to display correctly again. Though there are still some sites which do exist and re uploading correct data that have no form of contact links on their sites, so I'm unable to inform them of the change and that they need to update their links to AUWN and / or download new scripts to display the Map on their site. So hopefully by posting on all forums I may get lucky and find out who they are.

I have also realigned many of the stations to display better as some where overlapping content etc. Hope it displays clearer. Please advise if your site requires changing.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The updated Map also displayed here on my site : http://hrvistaweather.com/weather/wxAUWN.php

p.s If you happen to know any of the sites displaying "Offline" I would appreciate a quick message or possible alert them to the change (thank you).

One last question if any one know's, I have tried contacting Ken True a few times recently though had nil response, (I know he was tied up a while back with family duties) though not sure if it's an issue with my email or he's just offline at present, any heads up would be great, cheers.
Kind regards,

Hi Chris and Trevor,

Yes both your sites have been added and now displaying.

You should have received email confirmation from me either last night for Trevor and this morning for Chris.

Please let me know if you have not received it.

p.s. Chris that is most like why as I was not admin back then.

In the email I sent this morning I only questioned the Lat/Lon you supplied, as it put you in the Coles Carpark, not sure if that is correct. Could you please confirm.

p.s. I still need to adjust Potts Point and Shack by the Beach to stop Burra Motor Inn overlapping, will do that one night this week.

I also received an email from Trev (geelong weather) regards adding 5 additional sites, I've emailed back 3 times but getting email server issues his end. Not sure if he frequents this forum ?

Oh and received a response from Ken True, http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic= ... #msg267093
Kind regards,
