Temperature Trend

I am probably being thick but why if my temperature is rising



does #temptrend and Cumulus Mx show a negative trend?

Because it's based on the change since three hours ago, when your temperature was higher than it is now.

From the wiki:

<#temptrend> The average rate of change in temperature over the last three hours. Trend = (temp_now - temp_3hrs_ago) / 3

If you want a figure over a shorter period, there is <#TempChangeLastHour> and the standard index.htm web page uses that rather than <#temptrend>. but that isn't currently available via the web sockets interface for display on the UI dashboard.
