Davis Vantage vue

how can i make it good spot for Davis vantage Vue problem is trees blocks and house im frustrated my station only 3m above ground
Well you need to get it up high, have you got a gable end on your house? No gable end, then a chimney stack or tripod on the ridge? Failing that a pole in the garden?
The Vue is a bit of a compromise with its all-in-one unit. However from what I understand height affects the rain readings less than lack of height affects the wind readings.
