Hi Steve
I wanted to donate to your software and had a question about the donation form. I'll be paying by Visa and don't have PayPal account (nor do I want one). Can you please tell me if I fill out the form do I automatically create a PayPal account? Does PayPal keep my information and then bombard my email with marketing offers etc?

I believe if you click on Donate there is option at the bottom of the screen to use your credit card of choice rather than a PayPal account. Whether or not PayPal retains this information I am afraid I don't know but I doubt it as this would be against their privacy code and they will not have an account to store it against.

I tried to donate but the form is a little wonky. I'm in Canada and so the error message keeps coming up to include my "province" yet there isn't a field for it. I'll keep trying from time to time to see if it's been added.

KingKong it seems Steve (he posted this last week) is away for a few days you better wait till he's back

I don't think I have any control over the form. I've certainly had donations from Canada before, so I don't why you're having a problem, perhaps it's because you don't have a Paypal account. Don't worry about it, there are lots of people using Cumulus who haven't tried to make a donation, so your effort is appreciated anyway.

I logged in from a different machine using "FireFox" and the donation went through.
