Adding lost month rainfall totals

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Adding lost month rainfall totals

Post by dmac »

I had incomplete records for months May-July due to infrequent downloading from my Vantage Vue. I have subsequently deleted those months from the daytime. I would like to add monthly rainfall totals from a nearby weather station. Is there any easy way of doing this. I appreciate editing of data files has to be done on Cumulus 1.

Thanks

David.

As described in the FAQ, the monthly totals are calculated from the daily totals in dayfile.txt, so the only way to change the monthly totals is to modify entries in dayfile.txt, or add entries just for rainfall.
