Where to pop logs into?

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Where to pop logs into?

Post by stu_iow »

Hi all.

Trying out CumulusMX right now and my Virtual PC.

Love it, so lightweight.

Anyway, have been running another weather software to Display and log my data.

Found a converter for that to convert my 10 years of data.

Where do I put the outputted files from that? Is there a procedure I then need to go through for MX to read through that to take up the data?

Oh, it doesn't make any difference but I use Meteohub as the device connected to my VP2 and the I setup MX to collect the data via http on port 22222.

Cheers all,

Stuart
Running CumulusMX on a RPI2. Coming over straight from using WD for 10 years.

Probably be better to load up the most recent version of Cumulus 1.x, load the converted files in the data directory there and start doing converting.

I would go through the Wiki first; it contains good information on what you seek to start out with.
