Hi
I am using standard html Webtags to display the weather values but I have problems to change the cloudbase from feet to meters.
I used Cumulus 1.x for years and now CumulusMX on a RaspberryPi. I am not sure, if "feet" (ft) was since I switched to CumulusMX or also on Cumulus 1.x.
My HTML Code looks like this:
<td><#cloudbase> <#cloudbaseunit format="m"></td>
On my webpage I see: 614 ft ft
Currently I am not able to figure out, how to display it in Meters.
Looking into the Wiki I can find: <#cloudbaseunit> The units used for cloudbase value. Possible values: "ft" or "m"
but also: Below is a list of the webtags available in the 1.9.4 version of Cumulus. For Cumulus MX the few differences will be made clear when it is formally released.
Any Idea which are the correct webtags for Meters ? Or is it something CumulusMX specific which is planned for later releases?

Re: Cloudbase in Meters
That is quite correct because #cloudbaseunit does not have a format parameter it simply tells you if the cloudbase unit is either ft or m.<td><#cloudbase> <#cloudbaseunit format="m"></td>
On my webpage I see: 614 ft ft
To select metres you need to edit your cumulus.ini so that
CloudBaseInFeet=0
I don't think that Steve has yet got around to making this parameter available in the MX interface as I had quick look and I couldn't see it.

Re: Cloudbase in Meters
Mhhmm no problem to change this value in the Cumulus.ini file. I found it, changed it, saved it but after a CumulusMX restart, the value switched back to: CloudBaseInFeet=1water01 wrote: To select metres you need to edit your cumulus.ini so that

Maybe it is hardcoded in CumuluxMX to set it to 1 ?

Re: Cloudbase in Meters
Did you stop cumulus before you edited the INI file? You cannot edit it whilst cumulus I'd ruining as it rewrites many values when you stop cumulus.
Edit: sorry for the phone spelling!
