Mono On Beagle Bone Black

Since I had trouble with my weather station and CumulusMx on my Raspberry Pi2 ( https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14014 ) I bought a Raspberry Pi A+ to see if it would work since it only has one USB port. I used a USB hub with it but had the same problem as with the Raspberry Pi2.

So now I have a Beagle Bone Black Rev C with 4GB EMMC. I spent a lot of time setting it up with a new image and tweaks. Then when I tried to install mono-complete it would not install. After some research I find that there is supposedly no package for it on Beagle Bone Black. So how did you get it to work on your Beagle Bone Black?

If it's not straightforward, then I probably used Google to find out how to do it. Using Google just now, I found this: http://www.ofitselfso.com/Beagle/Instal ... eBlack.php

I did check google and found a lot of different and conflicting info about it. I thought you had it running on a beagle bone black Steve?

But later on after I made this post I found this: http://blogs.the-simmons.net/danny/post ... Black.aspx which led to this: http://www.mono-project.com/docs/gettin ... erivatives and it worked.

Today I will run CumulusMX on it and see if It works without the errors I got on the Raspbery Pi's.

Thanks for the info.

I had it running on my BBB some time ago, but just for a short time as a test. I don't remember what I had to do to get it to work.
